Polls measuring president Claudia Sheinbaum’s ratings have only gone up since she took office, reaching 80% approval in the wake of her first 100 days. These numbers were taken before her success in pausing president Donald Trump’s tariffs on Mexico.
No doubt this triumph will help those numbers—even staunch adversaries applauded her performance—but they are not directly related to Mexico’s foreign policy.
