Uncharted Mexico: Negative Nellies
It has become a bit of a tradition since the Morena party entered government in 2018 that analysts have underestimated economic growth. The Bank of Mexico has increased its estimates for the country’s GDP growth, from 0.1% this year to 0.6%, and from 0.9% to 1.1% in 2026.
