Big reforms are coming to town. In a time honoured and ethically dubious practice, Mexico’s Congress is rushing through a series of laws as the country settles down into the holiday spirit—and turns away from politics. Pro-government legislators celebrated their “productive” reforming spree of over 55 approved bills starting on the 1st September and ending today.
